TnT's PC Inspector


The PC Inspector offers an easy way for you to provide information that we may ask for in the support threads.
It will only work on Windows NT systems (2000, XP, Vista, 7) where Internet Explorer has not (for some reason) been uninstalled.
To copy the info presented just click the button "Copy the info below" and paste into your reply.
Please do not post screenshots - use the "Copy the info below" button.

On Vista and 7 the program should be run as administrator (right click > "Run as administrator").



The initial scan should take less than a minute:



By default, the TnT PC Inspector will display your Windows version + basic hardware.
In case malfunctioning hardware is detected it will be displayed with additional info.



If required you can create lists of installed programs and commands/programs running when Windows starts.
You can also read event logs, check the computer's MAC address and running/stopped services.
All reports will be saved as text documents in a folder (TnT Reports) on your desktop:

TnT's Recovery Console CD Maker (for Windows XP)


This program can be handy if your XP system needs repairing - and you don't own a Windows XP installation CD.
TnT's Recovery Console CD Maker can only be run on Windows 2000, XP and Server 2003 systems.

You will need to download two files:

• TnT's Recovery Console CD Maker:
  TnT RC-CD Maker.zip
  
  When downloaded - unzip the file.
• A file including six floppy disc images. This file can be downloaded from Microsoft.
  Choose the file matching your installed system. If you have Service Pack 3 installed - choose the appropriate Service Pack 2 packages.

When both files (TnT's Recovery Console CD Maker and the floppy package) have been downloaded:



Double click TnT's RC-CD Maker to start creating a CD ISO image.



A window, asking you to accept the floppy package license terms, will appear. Click Yes.

After a few seconds the recovery console CD ISO image will be on your desktop:

Boot your computer from the CD. Most computers will do that automatically when a bootable CD is inserted at startup.
If not, you'll have to alter a setting in BIOS. If you need help with that - please ask in the Hardware forums.
