The help provided on this forum is intended for individuals and not for business users. Most companies have their own dedicated IT departments and you may be breaking company policy by using outside help. Similar to most forums, we aim to provide free help for the individual user - not support businesses. Business/corporate users will therefore not receive assistance. The same will apply to computer repair businesses. The final decision as to whether or not any individual receives help here rests with the Administrators.

Please post in the relevant forum - read the forum descriptions and rules before posting.
When asking for help - start a new thread/topic. Do not "hijack" other threads saying "I have the same problem".
Post in a way which is consistent with "normal writing". Users should not post excessive numbers of emoticons, large, small, bold or coloured text, etc. Avoid chat abbreviations, and do not SHOUT or use excessive punctuation (e.g. ! and ?) in topic titles or posts.
Please try to use an appropriate, descriptive title when posting a new topic. Examples of bad titles include "Help me!", "I am stuck!", "I have got an error!". Examples of good titles include; "Getting a TABLE FULL error upon login", "Cannot restore a backup", etc.
Do not "bump" threads until at least 3 days have elapsed since the last reply.
Respect other users and their views, culture etc. Flaming or abusing users in any way is not tolerated.
TnT is aimed at a general audience. Posting pornographic or generally offensive text, images, links, etc. will not be tolerated.
Respect the copyright of others. Any posts linking to or re-printing material without permission will be removed.
We do not support any illegal activity related to computer systems, computer hardware, computer software programs or computer related activities. This includes requests for help to circumvent system admin passwords or Administrator settings on networks.
We do not support the use of P2P, torrents or any form of cracked or pirated software. Links to sites or posts related to these will be removed.
Respect the bandwidth of other users and sites. The use of inline () image tags pointing to data stored on third party systems for which the user has not received permission to link to may be removed.
Spam is not tolerated under any circumstance. This includes offering hosting services, installation services, solicitation etc. Links to your own website are not allowed in your user profile, or any posts unless approved by a staff member. Recruiting members for your own projects is not permitted and is also considered spam.
Moderators and administrators reserve the right to edit or remove any post at any time.
The forum rules where applicable also apply to private messaging, IM and Email as long as other TnT members are involved.
We do not offer help per PM, IM or Email. All technical support should take place in the threads, so that all members have a chance to participate and also benefit from the answers given.
Members found to be giving intentionally wrong or harmful advice will be banned.
Multiple identities (user names) is not allowed. If you have problems logging in - contact an administrator instead of creating a new account. Click "Contact" in the top menu bar to find our Email address.
Members are asked to not act as "back seat moderators". If members note an issue which contravenes any of the rules, they should bring it to the attention of a member of the Moderator Team. Please use the "Report this post" feature to report posts. Do not respond to such topics yourself.
The "Report this post" button is to be used only for reporting posts which contain violations of these Rules, the Terms of Service, or the Privacy Policies.
Members who violate rules will be warned or could be banned from TnT.
